I founded Evil Eye Tattoo in the winter of 2020, initially opening it as a private studio. However, I soon learned that I truly desired to be back in a street shop; I missed the spontaneous nature of walk-ins and the vibe of being downtown. Granted, I still enjoy appointments when the occasion calls for it.
When the opportunity arose to move into, and take on, the shop where it all started-I had to go for it!
I began tattooing in 2013 and can say I had solidly fallen in love with it immediately. I love a good challenge, and the chance to really exercise my creativity.

I’ve been tattooing for seven years, most of that time spent working in New Orleans where I honed my craft in fineline and soft black and gray work. The city’s energy shaped me as an artist but eventually I felt the pull to explore something new.
Now I’m in Tucson, trading the humidity and wrought iron balconies for dry heat and endless skies. The desert is fascinating—its stillness, its resilience, the way light shifts over the mountains at different times of day. I love creating pieces that complement the body’s natural flow.
Whether it’s a small, intricate design or a larger composition, I aim for elegance and longevity in every piece. Tattooing, for me, is about capturing something personal in a way that feels both organic and enduring.

I’ve been honing my craft for four years in street shops tattooing on the beach in San Diego and migrated to Tucson. I still travel as much as I can whether it’s guest spots out of state or conventions. My preferred styles are American traditional, Japanese, or black and grey. I’m always up to take walk ins, or appointments, palm size flash, or large scale anything.
My interest in tattooing started at a young age hanging around my father and his biker buddies. Always wild pinups, eagles, panthers, Harley Davidson tattoos, and military designs. Later in life I signed up for a 6 year contract in the Navy and wasted no time getting into tattooing after that. I spend my time with my nose to needle. Studying American and Japanese “hori” masters, the stories and lore, and the history behind the classic tattoo designs and what makes them so special. When I’m not in a tattoo shop studying, painting, or tattooing, I’m usually riding (and fixing) my motorcycles, surfing, doing jiu jitsu, playing my guitar, and spending time with my family. My favorite band is Black Sabbath. The end.

I’ve been tattooing since 2021. I’m originally from Prescott but I’ve been in Tucson long enough to feel like I’m from here. Even before starting to tattoo I was always a big enthusiast and have been around shops for many years. When I’m not in the shop I like to go out to local shows and events. I am a huge foodie so when you’re getting tattooed feel free to ask me about dope local restaurants. I am also a bit of a gamer and cinephile.
I love doing bold color and heavy black contrast work. I enjoy both American traditional and fine line tattoos. They are very different but I like that they take 2 very different skill sets to do. Even though those are my preferred styles I am always down to hear what you wanna do!
