AfterCare Instructions

 Please follow instructions below

DAY 1-2: Leave bandage on for 24-48 hours, it is water resistant (not waterproof) so wearing in the shower is fine.

—Bandage is non-absorbent so fluid buildup is expected/normal.

—once the bandage is removed wash with hot water and Dial antibacterial soap (the orange colored one), or use an unscented soap of your choice.

DAY 2-4: keep your tattoo clean and dry for the next two days, washing 2-3 times a day (or more if necessary) until your tattoo begins to flake/peel.

DAY 4-healed: once your tattoo begins to flake/peel, after washing, you can apply a small amount of fragrance/alcohol free lotion or coconut oil to your tattoo. “Tattoo” salves are also acceptable.

-wash hands before applying moisturizers

-always rub moisturizers in completely; your tattoo should never be gooey/tacky/greasy.

-peeling/flaking is normal; NO PICKING, NO SCRATCHING.

General Advice:

-keep your tattoo from being submerged and/or soaked in water

-do not expose to direct sunlight while healing.

-do not let people/pets come in contact with your tattoo until it’s healed.

-NO VASELINE, NEOSPORIN, or PETROLEUM BASED PRODUCTS.

-NO SUNBLOCK until healed

-DO NOT RE-BANDAGE YOUR TATTOO *unless instructed otherwise*.
